Carnelian - with its varying shades of red and orange, its hint of sinoper, and its unique glow - reminds us of ember of coal. It seems as if carnelian radiates heat and turns its surroundings to ashes, while feeling smooth and rather soft to the touch.

In this bracelet I combined that glow of the carnelian with the black it incinerates. Biconcave, cylindrical carnelian beads are contrasted by smaller, round black onyx beads.

The total length of the bracelet is 20cm; the bracelet closes with a brass lobster-claw clasp.

Bead Dimensions

Cylindrical carnelian: 1cm long and 0.5cm wide.
Onyx beads: 0.4cm in diameter.
